Everett Vaux - Class Of 1935

Everett W. Vaux, 96, of Kenosha, died on Tuesday March 19, 2013, at Aurora Medical Center in Kenosha.

He was born on February 12, 1917, in Watertown, SD, the son of the late Harry and Lucille (Lee) Vaux.  He was educated in the schools of Kenosha.  He was a member of the U.S. Army Air Corps serving during World War II
.  He married Eva Latham on November 24, 1945, at St. James Church in Kenosha.  He worked at American Motors for many years.  He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.  His hobbies included being an avid HAM Radio operator, walking, riding his bicycle, and spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.

Survivors include his sons, Clifford Vaux of Maine, Morgan Vaux of California, Michael Vaux of Kenosha, Evelyn Vaux of Florida, Eileen Zens of Green Lake, WI, Julie (Richard) Wolff of Lake Villa, IL; his grandchildren, Kevin, Erik, Alexandra and Lauren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Eva; a son, Daniel; a sister, Mary McCluskey; and a brother, Morgan.

Funeral Services were held on March 25, 2013, followed by interment at St. James Cemetery.
