Joanna Robinson - Class Of 1937

Joanna Robinson, 95 (pictured at right from the 1937 Spy), of Nofolk, VA passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2013, in her home.

Born in Kenosha, WI, she was the widow of John James Robinson.  She was also preceded in death by her grandson, John Charles Robinson and two brothers, Victor Joseph Butautas and Felix Butautas.  She was a Library Assistant at Norfolk Catholic High School and a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church.  Her no. 1 passion and love was her grandchildren.

Joanna is survived by two sons, John James Robinson, Jr. and wife Cathy, James John Robinson and wife Lisa; six grandchildren, Jennifer Dale Robinson, James John Robinson, Jr., Annie Robinson, Candace Alyse Robinson, Michael Robinson and Cheryl Robinson; a great-granddaughter, Claire Robinson; and a sister, Bernice Budta.

The family received friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home on July 13, 2013.  Burial will take place in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
