Lorraine Irene Beduhn, age 95, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2017 in Sauk Rapids, Minnesota.
Following high school Lorraine worked as a stenographer and was then married to Robert Edward Beduhn in 1943 in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Lorraine worked alongside her husband Robert in several small businesses, retiring as a Snap-On tool distributor in 1983. Lorraine and Robert retired to their lake home on Pokegama Lake near Pine City, Minnesota. There they were active in the lake homeowners association and various church activities. Lorraine was an avid painter and quilter. Her creations added beauty and warmth to many homes.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert E. Beduhn; daughter, Bette Jean Swenson; sister, Caroline Martin and son-in-law, Melvin Duoos. Lorraine is survived by daughters, Judith S. Meurer, Barbara M. Duoos ; sons, Edward (Wendy) Beduhn and Robert J. (Sharon) Beduhn, twelve grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
Memorial Service was held Friday, November 4, 2017 at Peterson-Grimsmo Funeral Chapel. Memorials may be directed to your local faith community in memory of Lorraine.
