Ruth L. Minikel, 94, resident of Gurnee, IL passed away on July 14, 2015.  She was born on November 25, 1920 in Kenosha, WI to William and Lizetta Draudt.  Ruth was an administrative secretary at Lake Forest Hospital for many years.

She is survived by her son Robert (Mary) Minikel; three grandchildren, Ellen, Anne and Ryan and three great grandchildren. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Minikel; daughter, Carol Mulhern and sister, LaVerne Boehm.

A visitation was held on Friday, June 17, 2015 at Marsh Funeral Home, Gurnee, followed by interment at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park in Kenosha, WI.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
