Louis Gerolmo - Class Of 1943

Louis F. "Lou" Gerolmo, 83, of Sarasota, formerly of Kenosha, WI (pictured at right from the '43 Spy), died January 18, 2009.  He was born June 15, 1925, in Kenosha, WI, the son of the late Sam Gerolmo and Antonia (Petracci) Gerolmo.  He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was the recipient of a Bronze Star.  

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Elaine; daughters Julie Kaiyoorawongs of Sarasota, Phyllis of Erie, PA, Rhonda Miller of E. Chester, NY, and Regina Glatt of Kenosha, WI; a son, Jeff of Sarasota; a sister, Mary Ann Sacripanti of Kenosha; brothers Frank of New York and Sam of Sarasota; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held on January 22, 2009 at Gulf Gate Chapel, Toale Brothers Funeral Home in Sarasota, followed by interment at Sarasota National Cemetery (Section 12, Site 546), Sarasota, FL.
