Stephen Gorelik - Class Of 1963

Stephen L. Gorelik Jr., 65, formerly of Kenosha, late of Corona, CA, passed away on June 2, 2011, following a courageous two-and-a-half-year battle with a cancerous brain tumor at UCLA Ronald Regan Medical Center, surrounded by his family.

Born in Kenosha, WI, on September 1, 1945, he was the son of the late Stephen L. and Frances (Blasi) Gorelik, Sr.  Locally, he was employed by LTV-Aerospace and Defense, Military and Postal Vehicles in South Bend, IN, as Director of Industrial Modernization and Productivity and by Uniroyal in Mishawaka, IN, as Corporate Director in Manufacturing Services.

Left to remember his love and family dedication are his wife of 44 years, Pat; two daughters, Tiffany Gorelik and Charmayne (Travis) DeMaio; two sons, Stephen (Andrea) Gorelik III and Charles (Dr. Kristin) Gorelik; one brother, Daniel (Shirley) Gorelik; two sisters, Sherri Gorelik and Cynthia Fink; three grandchildren, Noah, Chloe and Shelby; and many friends throughout the States.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 14, 2011, in St. Mary Catholic Church (7400 39th Ave., Kenosha).  Private inurnment will be at a later date in All Saints Mausoleum. A visitation will be held Monday, June 13, 2011, in the funeral home from 5:00PM to 8:00PM.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Brain Tumor Association, 2720 River Road, Des Plaines, IL 60018, would be appreciated.
