Shirley Foth (Conard) - Class Of 1940

Shirley Ann Foth Conard, born in Kenosha on August 6, 1922, passed into eternal life on Wednesday, February 17, 2016, in Fresno, Calif.

In 1942, she married Alfred Bonini.  They brought two wonderful children into the world, Bonnie Ann and Betty Alshir.

In 1946, she married Jule V. Conard and delighted the world with two more children, Carol Jean and Charlene Shirley.

Shirley was a homemaker, a domestic and international traveler, and an avid reader.  While living in San Jose, CA, she worked as a volunteer for Catholic Charities and Jeanne de Arc Manor/Giovani Center Senior Centers for several years.

She is survived by her three daughters, Bonnie (Jim) Hill of Weston, Wis., Carol (Ed) George of Coarsegold, Calif., and Charlene DeGroot of San Jose, Calif.; her many grandchildren, Gayle Walkowski, Sandy Metzler, Diane Holat, Curt Hill, Ed Mentell, Ken Mentell, Fred Mentell, Jule Ignagni and Angel DeGroot; her sister, Marla (Uncle Al) Moody and a sister-in-law, June Foth.

Preceding Shirley in death are her parents, Walter and Agnes Foth; her first husband, Alfred Bonini; second husband, Jule Conard; her daughter, Betty Alshir Bonini Mentell and her brother, Gilbert Foth.

Funeral services were held on Sunday, February 28, 2016, followed by entombment at All Saints Mausoleum.
