June Klingaman (Kley) - Class Of 1941

June A. Kley, 93, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2016.

She was born on April 28, 1923, to the late William and Mildred Klingaman. June attended Kenosha Schools and majored in Home Economics at Stout University. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Kenosha, WI, Mountainview Methodist Church in Cottonwood, AZ, and Crossroads United Methodist Church in Waunakee, WI.

June worked for Ladish Tri-Clover in Kenosha and retired and moved to Cottonwood, AZ in 1996. She spent many happy years there golfing and making new friends. Throughout her life, she enjoyed many activities which included teaching sewing, watching baseball, football, basketball, playing bridge, cooking, gardening, attending Red Hat meetings and just relaxing with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In her later years, she moved to Waunakee and continued to make friends and spend time with her family. June remained active and, even at the age of 93, was often the designated driver for lunches and short outings.

Survivors include her children, Kathleen Jordan (Gerald Palmer) of Waunakee and William Jordan of Kenosha; grandchildren:  Michele Gallagher of Albuquerque, NM; Jessica Palmer of Madison, WI; Alexandra (Mike) Devine of Waunakee; Maya Jordan (Justin Sebastian) of Kenosha; great grandchildren, Evan Anderson of Kenosha, and Patrick Devine of Waunakee.

June was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Christine Jordan.

Family and friends may visit at Crossroads United Methodist Church, 5901 Hogan Rd, Waunakee, WI, on Saturday, December 10, 2016, from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. The funeral service will take place at 1:30 p.m. A reception at church will follow the service.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
